Howdy again
Why I picked the tri pod? What is there not to like!?! the first thing that grabbed my attention was the source country.
Australia Wow!
Next was that photo on the forum. That profile just sold me!

So I decided to make the commitment in typical ugly american style.

As seen in a previous post, purchased these wheels for $90 each.

Then I was carving up a donor frame when I saw and bought this.

Because I have several (5) of these Suzuki 900cc to 1100cc engines. And Andrew said that it can be done. So I'm shipping off the frame and a faux engine for Andrew to fab my motor mounts and rear suspension mounts. It will save me time and when it is completed I will be very happy that was completed my Andrew.

I have the rear swingarm and wheel which I'll powdercoat to match the rims.

I look forward to talking here and meeting a few of you.

TJ

Hi TJ, I like the rim choice.

We (you, me, Brian) need to plan a meet up when your build is completed. I'm in North Carolina. I think you've already spoken with Brian.

Another Tri Pod here in the USA will be awesome.

Cheers

Today I shipped off my sub frame and engine block to Andrew.

Freight to Australia from Arizona,

$365

Knowing Andrew is going to do the job right from the assembly line,

Priceless.

I cannot wait!!

Great news from my engine builder.
$880 plus freight for my big bore cylinder block. Much less than the expected $1200 to $2000 i thought I was going to pay.

Hi TJ
Hope you have a great time building your dream when the bits arrive.
I really enjoyed the challenge of building mine, and seeing ( and driving )the final product.
Regards
Mal
